No babysitter, No problem! Date Night: Married with children style

Everyone loves a good date night, right? Having been married for 13 years and 4 kids later, its easy to say date nights, let alone any time alone together, has become a thing of the past, especially because we aren’t the babysitter having types. Such is life, and I love it. But, its time to bring some attention back to our marriage and make it a priority along with spending more time together. Here are some amazing ideas to get more one on one time with your love that you wont need to dish out moola to a baby sitter to enjoy!

  1. Watch a movie together after the kids get put to bed.

  2. Read a book together while snuggling under the covers.

  3. Cook dinner. Cooking together with some background music is a great way to spend time with each other.

  4. Sit around the bonfire sipping hot chocolate.

  5. Grab a blanket and sprawl out in the backyard to gaze at the stars together.

  6. Culinary exploration. Pick up a handful of different foods that you’ve never tried and try them together.

  7. Get DIY dirty! Find a diy project you both like and make some magic happen.

  8. Adult coloring books.

  9. Learn a new skill together on YouTube.

  10. Make out. This can obviously lead to much more but its something we used to do all the time, why not now?

There are ten of my favorites and there are a million ways to spend time together.
