Finally, Kannyn Dakodah Rafael…

8 years after my last child I decided I waited long enough and now all of my babies are growing up and I need a baby. Kannyn who is 16 months old today is our chunky monkey. This boy has a love for anything food or drink and is vocal about telling you, too. When Kannyn was born we did a no-contact with anyone but mom, dad, and brothers for just over the first month so this clearly attached him to me beyond usual. I did everything with him on my chest but, what can I say, that’s how I like it. He started getting his teeth at 3 months old and pretty much had a full mouth of them minus maybe a few by the time he was 1 year old. He used to walk around saying ‘dada’ all the time but now doesn’t say a damn thing. Although he understands everything, we are waiting for him to bust out some words. He’s mommy’s little side kick and we still do everything together, everyday. Kannyn loves to be around his brothers and loves when they play with him. He is learning how to kick a ball with his brothers and trying to figure out how to get his feet off of the ground to jump. He’s by far the cutest thing walking, and I’m absolutely biased. I live to watch you grow and learn for the rest of your life.
