With days left of Summer and all of the amazing memories made in the hot rays that turned into perfect sunsets and endless nights, its definitely hard to let go.
Autumn will soon be upon us and in California, as well as other places I’m sure, it is the best season and weather to get outdoors and explore. Whether it be at the beach in a hoodie around a bonfire or in boots and warmies in a woodsy cabin there are so many things one can do.
As I am a religious wearer of shorts, never pants, (yes, even in winter) I have been known to rock some sweat pants as good as the next! So I will take my shorts and my sweats and get it done this Fall.
You’ve read plenty of times that we LOVE being out in nature and what a better time then when a little brisk air makes the tip of your nose cold.
Here are few things I want to check off of my Fall Bucket List this season:
- South Lake Tahoe – I fell in love with Tahoe in the late spring and I am dying to be there in the Fall. I know its way colder than where we are and we much enjoyed going on the lifts up the mountains!
- Cabin in Yosemite – We have been saying this every year now but this is something we really want to do with a group of people, either with our kids or an adult trip.
- Family Pictures – So, we’ve never had family pictures done unless you call going to the place in the mall 9 years ago family portraits. Needless to say, I am hoping to cross this off my list this season!
- Hiking, lots of hiking – I have plans to do AT LEAST one hike a week for 6 weeks. Hopefully way more, but we will start with this.
- Beach Bonfires – As many as possible! There are few things more relaxing than sitting in the sand around a bonfire with all of our family and friends.
As I prepare to stock up on cute beanies, kids day packs, and long comfy socks to bring along on all of our Fall into Autumn adventures I am looking forward to seeing all of your seasons adventures as well!
Have you lit your pumpkin spice candle yet????
